From Our Website
The Alamance Partnership for Children is a non-profit organization serving children and families in Alamance County. The Partnership administers Smart Start and NC Pre-Kindergarten funds, an early childhood initiative designed to ensure that young children enter school healthy and ready to succeed. Experiences during this time literally shape the structure of the brain. Because today's children are tomorrow's leaders, parents and workers, everyone has a stake in making sure that all children have the experiences they need to thrive.
Alamance Partnership for Children provides consultation and support to programs interested in improving early education child care. We are here to answer any questions related to child care such as activities, health and sanitation, licensure and rating scales. Our trained Child Care Resource & Referral Specialist is here to provide technical assistance and training support to providers in Alamance County. Building a strong relationship with providers is the primary focus, and ensures services are tailored to meet each site's individual needs.
Board Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at noon in the Cotton Conference Room at the Alamance Partnership for Children. These meetings are open to the public. Should you have an interest in attending, please contact the Partnership at 336.513.0063.
