Since we opened in 1984, we have continued to stay true to our original Core Values of trust, nurture, learn, communicate, play and fun. We remain driven and passionate about our mission, continuously working to bring the most current best practices in early education to Charlottesville. We consider ourselves lucky to have created such a high quality preschool program that focuses on nurturing the whole child. We are very proud of our strong reputation in Charlottesville and Crozet. We hold ourselves at the highest of standards.
We strive to create a team environment that incorporates positivity and kindness, a strong work ethic and solving problems together. Our only focus is serving our children and their families by continually improving our classrooms, schools and child care. Our preschool curriculum encourages our teachers and administration to work together to plan activities that educate, nurture and challenge our students and their families. Each staff member is a critical part of our team and we value the time and gifts they share.
We've been the # 1 day care and preschool in Charlottesville, Crozet and Albemarle County each year since 2007! Teachers covering lunch breaks are fully trained as infant teachers and communicate well with the infant team. Unlike an in-home setting, we continually monitor and train our infant teachers so they continue to develop their skills and remain current with new and progressive infant research. Since our program serves infants through pre kindergarten, when your baby shows readiness for the waddler group or toddler room, (hard to believe but it happens quickly), we can begin the transition in a way that suits your little one- he/she begins by spending time in the waddler group or toddler rooms for a couple hours a day, and you can meet with the teachers as the transition begins.
