Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and enabling us to introduce ourselves. My husband, Peter & I own Cradles to Crayons. Being parents ourselves and having been in the corporate world for some time, we understand the requirements of working parents. We created our daycare and learning center based on those requirements.

From Our Website
Cradles to Crayons was created to provide a center that offers an enriching early childhood education program, an atmosphere that encourages fun while learning and the flexibility that is needed for working parents. Because we are not a franchise and are not owned by a major corporation, we can provide the type of individual service that can change as your needs change. We know and understand how unpredictable life can be. After 18 years and two locations, we continue to follow the same foundation which has met the needs of 100's of families.
When Cradles to Crayons was created, Doreen & Peter Gill were determined to provide a center that offers an intensive academic program that prepares the children for their elementary years. Being very familiar with the juggle between family life and the corporate world, they have had to make difficult decisions for their children and understand the importance of a valuable program and a nurturing environment. As a privately owned center, they have be able to choose the strengths from a various curriculum programs and chose the guidelines from various accreditations to create a balanced program that is superior to others.
We understand the importance of providing a sense of security to both our infants and their parents/guardians. We provide our parents with an Infant Questionaire which allows our parents to document the unique needs of their child's care including eating schedules, daily routines and what comforts their child throughout the day. Your individual needs are discussed with their caregiver while parents and their infants visit the center before enrollment begins. These visits are designed to introduce you and your child to the caregiver, set-up of the child's crib and cubby with their personal belongings and to simple develop a relationship with your caregiver.
