From Our Website

Curious Kids Learning Center aims to provide excellent early childhood education and care to all children and families in Wilkes-Barre and the surrounding area, regardless of social or economical backgrounds. We want the children to be children while learning in a curriculum that is designed to provide them with the most beneficial center based age appropriate experiences. The staff at Curious Kids Learning Center and the Co-Directors wish to welcome you and your child(ren). We are happy to include your family in our center and we hope to make this a very rewarding and happy experience.

Curious Kids Learning Center provides infant families with a supportive, consistent and caring child care center. We want families to build a trusting and supportive relationship with our center and staff. As a STAR 4 center we are committed to quality child care, staff development and our families. Each center employee has participated in pediatric first aid training, fire safety, emergency operations and training related to child development, assessment, etc. We believe that young children learn best through play in a safe and nurturing environment.

At Curious Kids Learning Center we use the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD to help ensure that our preschool children are developing and mastering the skills they will need to become lifelong learners who are school ready and excited to move on to Kindergarten. Our preschool program focuses on cognitive, fine and gross motor skills, social emotional and literacy skills. Preschool is an important time for children to gain confidence, make connections with what they know and their world and to become problem solvers.
