Exceptional learning and growth experiences are supplemented by therapeutic services as needed, up to age eighteen. Our vision is to be an exemplary model for inclusive early childhood education, child care and therapy services on a local, local and national level. The success of the school is dependent on fundraising, as tuition alone doesn't cover the daily operational expenses.

From Our Website
Located in St. Louis, Good Shepherd School for Children is a not-for-profit child care center, preschool and therapy center. We serve children with and without special needs, ages six weeks to six years, and up to age 18 in our therapy services. At Good Shepherd, we offer an inclusive environment where typically developing children and children with special needs learn, play and grow together. We focus on reaching each child devlopment milestone and embrace the unique differences in each child.
In addition to the pediatric therapy that Good Shepherd provides within the community and on outpatient basis at our Creve Coeur center, we enroll up to 33% of special needs children in each of our classrooms. Supporting special needs children in a classroom setting provides not only for their educational needs but their social needs as well. Because Good Shepherd is an inclusive learning center, all children will experience the joy of playing together with other children whether they have special needs or are typically developing.
Thank you for considering Good Shepherd for your family's childcare! We are committed to helping your child grow socially, emotionally, physically and academically in an inclusive child care center and preschool. With 50 years of service to families, here are just a few reminders of how your child will benefit at Good Shepherd School for Children.
