When choosing a child care provider there are many elements that are important to you. Inter-Lakes Day Care Center has caring, competent, and educated teachers who become partners in the care of your child. Our center is a home-like environment that provides the flexibility you need as a busy parent while providing consistency and structure for your child. I-LDCC provides professional staff, familiar faces every day, hours to fit your work schedule, and care you can count on from infancy through elementary school -- call or email today to schedule a visit!
Before school care is available beginning at 6:30am. This is a great option for parents who need to get to work early in the morning, or for parents who would like to drop off their child earlier when older siblings go to high school. Mornings are typically low-key with board games, card games, art activities, reading, etc. Breakfast is included and served from 6:30am - 7:15am every day. Enrollment is based on your weekly schedule. Occasionally drop-in care may be available during specific circumstances.
I-LDCC provides all meals and snacks your child will need throughout the day at no cost to families. This includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Water is available at all times. We follow USDA's Child Care Food Program's nutrition guidelines, and menus are posted weekly at the center. I-LDCC is NOT a peanut-free school, and parents are permitted to bring in a treat at holiday times and/or for their child's birthday. We do encourage alternatives to the traditional birthday cake because we celebrate a lot of birthdays throughout the year!
Summer camp begins when school gets out in June and runs straight through to the new school year in the fall. For 6 weeks during July and August campers go to the beach every afternoon for swimming lessons conducted by Red Cross trained lifeguards. Included in the program are all meals and snacks, tennis lessons, participation in the Meredith Public Library's summer reading program, and early and late drop off times. We can also accommodate students in Summer Blast at I-LES. The 7-Uppers are a fantastic group of friends!
For over 40 years, Inter-Lakes Day Care Center has recognized the importance of a strong curriculum which increases each child's knowledge of the natural world, develops innate curiosity about the world, and broadens thinking skills and problem solving for investigating the world. Within the context of child growth and development, our professionally trained staff maximize the educational experiences for children through developing and implementing innovative curriculum. I-LDCC is a non-profit, licensed, community child care and education agency, which provides exceptional and affordable early care and education to a diverse group of children from six weeks through twelve years of age.
