From Our Website

Kids Educational Centers have been in operation since 1987. Kids Educational Centers provide quality, early childhood education, and daycare services for those in Raleigh, Knightdale, and other areas of the greater Triangle region. Each of our centers follows the same curriculum and is led by certified and compassionate teachers and staff. Our educated, experienced, and dedicated staff is passionate about providing a healthy and socially stimulating environment in which children can grow physically, emotionally and intellectually.

From the moment a child is born, they are soaking up the world around them and taking in new information; learning begins way before a child enters his formative school years. In fact, studies have shown that the benefits of preschool persist into regular school years and beyond. Preschool helps prepare your child for their future education and sets them up for success. Our Kids Educational Center Preschool Classroom is for children ages 3-4 years old. Our Preschool Classroom is designed to meet the educational and developmental needs of children within this age group as they begin preparing for elementary school.

Research shows that high-quality prekindergarten education increases a child's chance of succeeding in life and in school. As the Pew Charitable Trust states, children who attend pre-k are less likely to be held back a grade, less likely to need special education courses, and are more likely to graduate high school. This is a win-win for both parents and their children in the short and long terms. Our Pre-Kindergarten Program is designed to prepare children for elementary school. The program, for children age 5, offers many opportunities for students to participate in hands-on, integrated, and fun learning activities.

Many parents of school-aged children are in need of childcare (or an outlet for their kids) before or after school or during the vacation months. Kids Educational Centers offer a School Age & Camp Program that includes our Before & After-School Program, as well as a Summer Camp. With KEC, your young learners will stay actively engaged even when outside of a formal classroom setting. There's nothing like making friends and enjoying some fun in the sun. That's what children get in our Full-Day Summer Care program.

Parents of toddlers know that children at this age are busy-bodies, discovering the world around them and developing the habitual, social, interpersonal, and language skills that they will use for the rest of their lives. Our Toddler Classroom is designed to offer a fun and safe environment for your young explorers. While individualized attention is important, at this age, our teachers focus on providing learning opportunities for all children in a group setting. The KEC Toddler Classroom is designed for play and uses the Learn Everyday curriculum for Ones.

At Kids Educational Centers, we use the Learn Everyday curriculum - a definitive guide for teachers of infants, toddlers, and children ages two to five years old. It is an approved curriculum of the North Carolina Department of Human and Health Services Division of Child Development and Early Education. Helping children reach for school success is very important in the early years of a child's development. Kids Educational Centers emphasize an optimistic attitude toward learning school readiness skills, while also reveling in the joy that's found through discovering the world around us.

You often hear about the "terrible twos, " but at Kids Educational Centers, we think that this age is quite wonderful! Two-year-olds are full of energy, are inquisitorial, and are focused on becoming more independent. Our Twos Classroom bases its curriculum around the well-known fact that the majority of learning for two-year-olds takes place while playing. Play during this age is simultaneously your child's full-time job and his hands-on education. Children get all the play and education their little hearts yearn for in our classroom setting.
