From Our Website
Seward Childcare Center (SCCC) currently serves up to 24 children a day, ages 16 months to 5 years. We are currently open 8 am - 5 pm, Monday- Friday. Seward Child Care Center strives to offer high quality early education experiences that respect, nurture, and optimally support the development of each attending child. In the service of children, we work every day to support our teachers, build a strong community, and operate a successful cooperatively run business. Seward Child Care Center (SCCC) is proud to have received Accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children, as well as Four Stars (the highest possible rating) from Parent Aware!
Please contact us or call (612) 724-3030 with questions about the wait list or anything else regarding enrollment. Because of the high quality, alternative and flexible care we offer, many more families apply for enrollment than we can accommodate. Once a family has applied for admission, they are added to the waiting list. Seward Child Care Center prioritizes siblings of currently enrolled families, families of color, and LGBTQ-identified families in our enrollment efforts. Due to the scheduling policies at SCCC, we are typically unable to inform parents of starting/enrollment opportunities until 2-3 weeks before the opening occurs.
Seward Child Care Center is committed to providing access to high quality childcare for a diverse range of families. One way we do this is by accepting Hennepin or Ramsey county child care assistance. In certain circumstances whereby the county rates are less than the actual Seward Child Care Center tuition rate, the Center accepts the county payment and uses scholarship funding to cover the difference. The county will cover the center's registration fee. The tuition deposit normally required of new families is waived for families receiving child care assistance.
