Working mothers are absent from their jobs from 5 to 29 days per year caring for sick kids. Obstacles exist that hamper the development of needed ill child care programs.
In 1992, Childcare Network consisted of five schools with an enrollment of approximately 500 kids. Today, we operate 163 schools in eight states, with an enrollment of approximately 16,000 kids, making us the 5th biggest supplier in our industry. Our schools are entirely community based, free standing locations that operate five days a week throughout the year.
