NOT JUST A DAY CARE CENTER Little Sun People., is an exceptional community child care service, established in 1980 by Fela Barclift an African American mother of four and lifetime resident of the colorful community of Bedford-Stuyvesant. Little Sun People, centrally situated in the Bedford-Stuyvesant community, has been especially designed to foster the development of the younger child.

Chickpeas is a parent-run cooperative preschool set up in 1981. We provide a complete-day program for kids between the ages of two years, nine months and five years in one multi-aged group. Children may attend three, four or five days a week. Chickpeas has three full-time teachers and an after school assistant.

We welcome you to the Park Place Day Care Center. The primary purpose of our program is to seek and promote a child's emotional, social, physical and emotional development.
