Fannie Battle Day Home for Children is the oldest child care center in US. Our goal is to continue the tradition set up in 1891 by our founder, Miss Fannie Battle: to supply affordable high-quality child care, for at-risk kids in a nurturing environment while empowering families to gain their potential.

Holly Street Day Care Center was established in 1983 in response to a growing need for quality childcare in the East Nashville community, an area once considered a blighted slum area by the Federal Government. Holly Street took this characterization and made it a foundation to build upon, by dealing with the area churches and other organizations to improve the area surrounding the center.

Kids whose basic requirements are met and satisfied during the formative years of their lives have a better chance to expand and evolve into cheerful, healthy, well-adjusted adults physically. The mission of McNeilly Center for Children is to supply affordable, quality childcare to kids ages 16 months to 12 years of age whose parents are working, in job training, or in school. Parenting education and social services are delivered for the families of enrolled kids.

The Regional Intervention Program has been serving families with young kids since 1969. RIP is an internationally recognized parent implemented program in which parents learn to work directly with their own kids. Experienced RIP parents supply training and maintenance to newly enrolled families.
