In the homework room, kids will do different sit down activities located on our theme of the week. We just bought an Air Hockey Table! In the activity room, child will do arts and crafts. We have arcade machines, which are used on an awards basis. We have a foos ball table for the kids's enjoyment. Each week, we'll conduct a sports camp.

We are situated at 2249 Halifax Street, one block from the campus of Virginia University of Lynchburg, Children from Lynchburg and neighboring counties utilize the services provided by the center. Located in a former elementary school building, the facility lends itself to the ages of the kids served.
Horizons Unlimited E.L.C. operates out of a newly constructed, six thousand square foot building designed solely for the goal of delivering a state of the art childcare facility. Normal hours of operation for the center are Monday through Friday. Our building is safe and secure with security cameras and alarms in every classroom and around every corner.
The center is licensed for 34 kids. We currently have two classroom setting consisting of the Monkey Room and the Dinosaurs Room. The Monkeys room is divided into two sections; infants 6 weeks to 2 years and young preschoolers 2's & 3's. The dinosaur room is used for the Pre-K's and in the evening the room is divided to allow our schoolers to participate in our program.
In the Fall of 2008, Rainbow Riders received grant awards from Virginia Tech VT and the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center CRC. The grants will allow Rainbow Riders to expand operations by constructing a new facility that is expected to open in August, 2009. The new building will be situated on CRC property just down the road from the current location.
